We are pleased to provide you with the latest updates regarding PokerStars.
POKERSTARS OBTAINS GAMING LICENSE FOR DENMARK
PokerStars has been awarded a license to operate in Denmark and will launch www.PokerStars.dk on January 1, 2012 when the license takes effect enabling Danes to access the largest number of online poker tournaments and compete against poker players from all over the world.
What does this mean for you as an affiliate?
You will need to change your trackers for Danish traffic from PokerStars.com/da to PokerStars.dk. Your banners will update automatically as long as you are using our new banner system. The bonus will remain the same as PokerStars.com.
As soon as the migration starts you will be paid on a revenue share basis for Danish traffic.
Net revenue share will be paid out at the following rates:
You will be able to see in your reports the players you referred from Denmark and the revenue share.
Please note that as soon as we are live with our new PokerStars.dk client on January 1 2012 it will be tax free for players in Denmark to play on PokerStars
TURBO COOP
TCOOP is a brand new online tournament series for players who like their action fast. It will run from January 19-29, 2012, with a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000,000 awarded over 50 events . The schedule includes Turbo and Hyper Turbo tournaments, with buy-ins ranging from $5.50-$2,100. Satellites start running today.
LONDON AFFILIATE CONFERENCE
The PokerStarsPartners Team will be in London from January 29-29 and exhibiting at stand number 68. If you are going to be attending the conference, please email us in advance to set up a meeting time with one of our Account Managers, or just drop by the stand to meet us!
From January 1 we will no longer be maintaining our old banner system so cannot guarantee tracking. It is therefore vital that you to switch over to the new system as soon as possible.
CHANGES TO THE CALCULATION OF AFFILIATE REVENUE SHARE COMMISSION FOR 2012
On January 1, 2012, we will be changing the way we calculate revenue share for affiliates. When calculating revenue for commission purposes, instead of rake being split between all players dealt into the hand, rake will now be calculated based on the players who contribute to the pot. This has been updated in the Terms and Conditions, which you can review at: https://www.pokerstarspartners.com/public/about/termsAndConditions.html
With our very best wishes for the holiday season!
Kind Regards,
