Spanish Licence
We are pleased to announce that PokerStars has been awarded a licence to operate in Spain and have today launched www.PokerStars.es to serve the Spanish online poker market.
Existing Players
Players who reside in Spain will be given the option of us assisting them in order to open their new PokerStars.es account. Their current personal information, along with their FPPs, VPPs, Milestone bonuses and their current VIP status will be moved to their new PokerStars.es account upon the player's consent. This will also mean that their affiliation status will remain unchanged.
Existing Players will also have the option to open a new account.
What does this mean to you as an affiliate?
We will use our best efforts to ensure that all players who had previously registered an account with PokerStars, regardless of the platform, will carry over their affiliate links. This process will require updates, so you may not see these changes immediately. Our intention will always be to work within the regulatory requirements and to continue to honour the existing affiliate agreement and for you to continue to receive commission for the players that you have acquired.
New Players and Links
In order to send new players to PokerStars.es you will need to change your trackers from PokerStars.com/es to PokerStars.es. New banners and logos are also available at www.PokerStarsPartners.com.
Rebate
All new players will be offered a standard rebate of 100% up to 500 EURO for all players on their first time deposit. The rebate code the players should use to receive this rebate is: EURO500
Promos
Sunday is the biggest day of the week for tournaments on PokerStars.es. Aside from the Sunday Special and El Clasico, we will celebrate big events throughout the day where players will be able to put their poker skills to the test. You will find all of these tournaments in our PokerStars.es lobby where you will also find a calendar full of regular events.
We appreciate the hard work and loyalty you have shown us and look forward to working with you in the newly regulated Spanish Market.
Kind Regards,
The PokerStarsPartners Team |
