Double Guarantees are back for a full week‏
From February 6th through 12th, the US-friendly online poker site is doubling the guarantee of all major tournaments in the schedule.
San Jose, Costa Rica – February 3, 2012 – How do you top a double guarantee promo that caused 12,000 online poker players to shuffle up and deal? By doing it again for a whole week. TruePoker today announced the launch of Double Guarantees Week, slated to run for an entire week starting February 6th. All major tournaments on the online poker schedule will see its guarantee doubled.
"Double the excitement is back in full force," stated a Tournament's spokesman for TruePoker. "We've been in touch with our community and we've heard them loud and clear. They love the big guarantees so we're delivering them for an entire week."
If January's Double Guarantees promo is any indication, online poker players at TruePoker can expect big things from February's Double Guarantees Week. Earlier this month, the online poker site recorded record numbers after it experienced a surge in traffic.
Over a span of four days, January's Double Guarantees promotion doled out $213,927.60 in prize money, with eight out of the nine major tournaments beating the guarantee. The promotion drew approximately 12,000 players, not including those who played in cash games, satellites and non-guaranteed tourneys.
