DUBLIN, Ireland -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Carbon Poker will soon be proud to lay claim to the biggest ever Bad Beat Jackpot. The Jackpot which has just broken the 7 figure mark - $1,000,000, has not only brought a marked increase in action to the Carbon Poker card room and the Merge Gaming Network, but is only days away from breaking the record and becoming the biggest ever Bad Beat Jackpot.
"The listed Bad Beat tables, which range from $.50/$1 to $5/$10 at the high end, are constantly full around the clock," commented Jay Manning, a Carbon spokesman. "Players have been flocking to play at Carbon Poker as we are offering the lowest qualifying hand as well as the largest prize pool at any card room ever, this is an industry first."
The Bad Beat Jackpot, first introduced by Carbon Poker in mid 2008, and which has yet to pay out since its introduction, is seeded by $0.50 from every pot on all listed Bad Beat tables and pays out when a hand of quad 7's or better is busted. Currently, this is the lowest qualifying hand for a bad beat in the online industry.
The Bad Beat Jackpot isn't the only thing happening at Carbon Poker, with the highly anticipated 4.5 version of their gaming platform to be launched next month. The new software, which features an advanced mini mode and table customizer also coincides with the release of the new VIP program that will incorporate a brand new online store. "It's a very exciting time at Carbon Poker, a lot is happening, the players love it and they are tuning in to what we are doing." stated Manning. |
