Old face, new owner in Golden Cairo move
The Gamshare group, which includes Microgaming powered Casinoshare and Pokershare operations has added the well established Golden Cairo Casino.com to its stable, judging by a press release issued this week announcing the acquisition.
First launched in 2004, Golden Cairo has used iGaming Network and GFED software in the past and was revamped in 2005 and 2006, when it was owned by Infolot Holdings SA via Telton Limited on St Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean.
After what appears to be another successful revamp, the online casino now sports a bright new and professional look and both download and instant play versions of Microgaming's quality gambling suite totalling over 300 games. Licensing has switched to Kahnawake, and the Support function appears to have been substantially beefed up.
Gamshare's statement claims that the casino management team now consists of highly skilled executives with over 7 years experience in Las Vegas and European land based casinos, all part of the multinational brand's infrastructure in the United Kingdom, Malta and Cyprus.
One intriguing comment in the release suggests that Gamshare subsidiary Playshare may be considering the white label business, presumably using Microgaming software. The release comments: "PlayShare seeks to partner with organisations which are active or desire to be active in the online space providing them with a fully managed turnkey Casino solution. PlayShare Partners supply customised and managed Online Casinos at zero operational cost and zero liability to White Label Casino owners."
