Pinnacle Sports: Notice of closure of British player accounts
An important notice for all affiliates
Hello,
Due to changes to British gambling licensing regulations, Pinnacle Sports will, after September 30th 2014, be unable to offer our services in Great Britain.
What will happen to British account holders?
• Any bets placed up to and including September 30th will be honoured.
• All account options for British betting accounts other than withdrawal will be blocked after September 30th, 2014.
• Funds remaining in Pinnacle Sports accounts may be withdrawn at any time, free of charge.
What this means for our affiliates:
• All affiliates will not be permitted to display any advertising of Pinnacle Sports in Great Britain.
• All banners, text links, landing pages, logos and any marketing materials of any kind promoting Pinnacle Sports must be GEO targeted to NOT display to British ip addresses.
• Affiliates need to stringently follow this rule and failure to do so could include being removed from our affiliate programme.
• Any existing British betting accounts that affiliates have tagged to their accounts will be closed and removed.
• All affiliates based in Great Britian will still be able to promote Pinnacle Sports outside of Great Britain.
• All affiliates based in Great Britain will still earn commissions for players tagged to their accounts from outside Great Britain.
• Affiliates based in Great Britain who are paid into betting accounts can still use these accounts for withdrawing purposes only.
We apologise for the inconvenience this causes you, and thank you for your continued support affiliating with Pinnacle Sports. Should we obtain a British gambling licence in the future we will let you know.
