GBP 1.5 million campaign will embrace diversity of UK media
With the more liberal British attitude to gambling advertising, the land and online casino firm Grosvenor Casinos is about to launch a major UK advertising campaign that will include use of radio, cinema, press and direct marketing over a three month blitz.
The Rank group subsidiary has budgeted GBP 1.5 million for the project, which features an advertising campaign designed to create a more favourable perception of casinos, devised by UK agency Law Creative.
The campaign features pay-off lines such as “You’ll never know until you try” for Grosvenor Casinos and “There’s a first time for everything” for the new G Casinos in Manchester, Luton and Blackpool. The ads feature lifestyle shots of people enjoying a typical night out at the casino from gaming through to cocktails and dinner.
Jackie Abraham, head of marketing at Grosvenor Casinos, said: “Grosvenor Casinos is about giving people a fun and unique entertainment experience all under one roof. With the change in UK advertising legislation we can now talk directly to a completely new audience of fun-seekers and show them what a night at the casino really entails including our fantastic gaming offer, our restaurants, bars and live entertainment.’
The campaign will also feature the ‘Helping you stay in control’ messaging, which is part of Grosvenor’s internal policy on supporting responsible gambling. |
