We are pleased to bring you the latest news and promotions surrounding the PokerStars 10th Anniversary.
Affiliate Competition - 100 X $215 tickets to the $10M Guaranteed Sunday Million up for grabs!
As part of the 10th Anniversary celebrations, we are running a competition for you our partners and giving away 100 x $215 tickets to the Sunday Million $10m Guaranteed tournament on December 18th 2011.
In order to enter this competition all you need to do is simply place on the homepage of your site a 1000 x 300 banner for one week starting on Nov 28th 2011 to at least the 4th December 2011. This size banner can be found on our banners page. In order to register your entry into the competition, simply send an email to , stating your affiliate ID, and the website URL(s) where the banner is published. Please note that you are permitted to upload banners onto multiple sites, however you will only be eligible to win one $215 ticket per affiliate account.
The first 100 affiliates to generate a new real money player through the 1000x300 banner will win a ticket which you can use yourself, or in a tournament promotion for your players.
If you are a winner of a ticket, you will be contacted directly the week commencing the 5th December. Please be aware that the winning 100 affiliates as defined by the PokerStarsPartners team shall be final and not subject to review or appeal.
Reminder: If you are still using the old banner server, we highly recommend that you switch to the new server as soon as possible, and change your links using the code as provided on our banner page. After December 31st 2011, we will not be able to guarantee tracking on the old banner server.
This week’s 10th Anniversary promotions include the first-ever Ring Game Leaderboards, with prize money of $1,000,000, plus a selection of great value added tourneys.
Ring Game Leaderboards
•From November 23-December 2 we’re awarding $50,000 per day in prizes to the top VPP (VIP Player Point) earning players in ring games.
•On December 11, all of the players that made the top 1,000 of one of the leaderboards will receive entry to a $500,000 freeroll!
•There are four divisions to compete in: Micro, Low, Medium and High.
•All of your players can take part – they just need to play as many hands as they can at their favourite stakes between 00:00 and 23:59 ET on any given day of the promotion.
10th Anniversary Extras
•Encourage your players to earn a VPP in November to claim a place in the Class of 20XX freerolls – where more than $250,000 in cash and PCA packages will be awarded! Note, this promotion is for players that signed up from 2001 to 2010.
•Players can use their PokerStars knowledge to win cash in one of 100 x $0.10 Trivia Tourneys, each with $1,000 added to the prize pool. They can pop up at any time from December 1-18.
•Limited edition 10th Anniversary merchandise will be available in the VIP Store from December 1-18. It’s a great way for existing real money players to redeem their Frequent Player Points (FPPs).
