Malta Licence
PokerStars has been awarded a Malta license and has now launched www.pokerstars.eu. Swedish and Finnish players are now being moved from PokerStars.COM to our new PokerStars.EU software.
Same games – tax free
Swedish and Finnish players will still be able to access the same great games and tourneys, and play against the same players as on PokerStars.COM. One of the benefits of moving to PokerStars.EU is that with the games being offered from within EU the players’ winnings will be tax free.
What does this mean for you as an affiliate?
You will need to change your trackers for the Finnish traffic from PokerStars.com/fi to PokerStars.eu/fi. Please note that you will NOT need to change the tracking for Swedish traffic if you are directing the traffic to PokerStars.se. Your banners will update automatically as long as you are using our new banner system. The 100% sign up bonus up to $600 will remain the same as PokerStars.COM.
